Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports and be in good health.
Applicants for undergraduate programs must be the holders of high school diplomas or the equivalent of high school diplomas in China.
Applicants for master’s degree programs must be the holders of Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of Bachelor’s degree in China.
Applicants for doctoral programs must be the holders of Master’s degree or the equivalent of Master’s degree in China.

Applicants for master’s degree studies must be the holders of Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent Bachelor’s degree in China and be or under the age of 35.
Applicants for doctoral degree studies must be the holders of Master’s degree or the equivalent of Master’s degree in China and be or under the age of 40.

4. Values of Scholarship:
Exempt from tuition fee and accommodation fee for Overseas Student Apartment on campus;
Monthly living allowance is granted to the students through the host institution at the following rates (CNY Yuan per month):
- Master’s degree students: CNY 3,000 Yuan
- Doctoral degree students: CNY 3,500 Yuan
Comprehensive Medical Insurance and Protection Scheme for International Students in China are provided by MOE for the scholarship students in China against hospitalizing for serious diseases and accidental injuries.

4. Values of Scholarship:
After paying all the fees at arrival, qualified applicants can get the following one –time financial support (CNY Yuan per year):
- Bachelor’s degree students: CNY 20,000 Yuan
- Master’s degree students: CNY 30,000 Yuan
- Doctoral degree students: CNY 50,000 Yuan

For degree applicants:
(a)Application Form for International Students 2020(http://gjjy.ahau.edu.cn/info/1041/1191.htm);The China Scholarship Council Online Application for Study in China is available in http://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/register. Applicants need to fill in and print out the application form after submitting it online. The university application form is needed for each applicant.
(b) Highest diploma (notarized photocopy). Graduating students should provide a certificate of impending graduation and a certificate of enrollment, and hand in diploma after graduation. (Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English).
(c) Academic transcripts (notarized photocopy): Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.
(d) A study or research plan. All applicants are required to submit a study or research plan. It must be in Chinese or in English and no less than 800 words.
(e) Recommendation letters: Applicants for postgraduate programs must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors (Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English).
(f) Photocopy of Blood Test and Foreigner Physical Examination Form (The original copy should be kept by the applicant

(g) Photocopy of passport.
(h) Affidavit of Financial Support (http://gjjy.ahau.edu.cn/info/1041/1102.htm)
(i)Applicants for English-taught programs must submit proof of English Language proficiency (TOEFL ≥ 75、IELTS ≥ 5.5 or equivalent certificates) (not for English native speakers and those who get the degree in English speaking countries). Those who do not possess an HSK 4 (or above) certificate should finish Chinese language course (1-2years) before academic study (not for Chinese native speakers or those Chinese-taught majors who get the degree in Chinese universities) .
