The Department of State-owned Assets Administration, composed of the Tendering and Purchasing Section, Asset Management Section, Equipment Maintenance Section, Industrial Section, and General Section, is responsible for the asset management, resource allocation for teaching and scientific research, as well as the management of university estates. Areas of responsibility include organization, verification, supervision and disposal of the fixed assets of AAU, management and registration of tangible and intangible assets, information maintenance of the management system of fixed assets, procurement and bidding of goods and non-engineering services of AAU, procurement, management and distribution of teaching equipment and maintenance of instruments used in teaching and scientific research.
