During the visit to Colorado State University, AAU delegation met with Rick Miranda, Provost of the university and the representatives of administrative staff. Both sides reviewed their cooperation over the past eight years, discussed in depth on further cooperation in joint degree programs, exchanges of teachers and students, scientific research cooperation and agricultural extension in the future, and finally reached consensus. Besides, AAU delegation met with the Chinese students and scholars studying and working in the university, and held talks with the head of the Department of Ecology and Sustainable Development on the reform of the “2+2 dual-degree Training Program” of Environmental Science and the development of cooperative education of graduate students. Finally, the delegation visited the Office of Engagement, holding discussions on the affairs concerning “China-US University Agricultural Extension Alliance”.
During their stay in San Francisco, AAU delegation attended a high-level talent seminar held in Silicon Valley. At the seminar, Yao Zuowen introduced the basic situation of AAU and relevant information on the recruitment of young professionals. Zhou Xi'an, Vice Governor of Anhui Province, and Xie Ping, Deputy Director-General of Anhui Provincial Department of Education, on their visit to San Francisco Municipal Government and Stanford University.
