Prof. Jiang Xingyu is currently a supervisor for Ph. D. candidates and the director of the Key Laboratory of Salt-tolerant Crop Biotechnology in Hainan Province. He did his postdoctoral work in the Jacob Blaustein Institute for Desert Research, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel, and then he continued his research as a post-doctoral fellow inSpanish Council for Scientific Research, Spain and as a visiting scholar in Purdue University, USA. He is a member of Editorial Board ofCell Biology and the referee ofBMC Plant Biology. His main research interests include signaling pathway of function regulation of plant ionic transport protein,development andutilization ofsalt-tolerantcrops etc.He has publishedmore than 50 papers in international journals including PNAS, Plant Physiology, New Phytologistetc.

Dr. Zhang Hui is currently a research associate in Shanghai Center for Plant Stress Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He conducted his two-year research as a post-doctoral fellow in Purdue University,USA. His research interests include plant abiotic stress response and the development and utilization of plant gene editing technology etc.He has published many papers in the international top-tier journals, includingPlant Cell,PNAS,Mol Plants etc.The paper published as cover inPlant Biotechnol J has beencited for over 260 times.
