Profile to the Lecturer

Dr. Jocelyn Millar is a tenured professor and Distinguished Professor in the Department of Entomology in University of California, Riverside. She is a world renowned chemical ecologist dedicated to identification, analysis, chemical synthesis and application ofinsect pheromone. She was the first to find the pheromones of main pests and is an authoritative scholar in integrated pest management. She was once the president of International Society of Chemical Ecology and was elected as fellow of American Association for the Advancement of Science in 2003, and fellow of Entomological Society of America in 2013 as well.
