I. Prospective Students

Full-time undergraduate, postgraduate studentsornon-degree students.

II.Criteria & Eligibility

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizenswith valid passportsand be in good health.

Applicants forundergraduate programs must be the holders of high school diplomas or the equivalent ofhigh school diplomasin China.

Applicants formaster’s degreeprograms must be the holders of Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent ofBachelor’s degreein China.

Applicants fordoctoralprograms must be the holders of Master’s degree or theequivalent ofMaster’s degreeinChina.

Scholarship Type A:Chinese GovernmentFullScholarship

2.Criteria & Eligibility:

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports and be in good health.

Applicants for master’s degree studiesmust be the holders ofBachelor’s degree or the equivalent Bachelor’s degreein Chinaand beorunder the age of 35.

Applicants for doctoral degree studiesmustbe the holders ofMaster’s degreeorthe equivalent ofMaster’s degreein Chinaand beorunder the age of 40.

3.Values of Scholarship:

Exempt from tuition feeand accommodation fee for Overseas Student Apartment on campus;

Monthly living allowance is granted to the students through the host institution at the following rates (CNY Yuan per month):

- Master’s degree students: CNY3,000 Yuan

- Doctoral degree students: CNY3,500 Yuan

Comprehensive Medical Insurance and Protection Scheme for International Students in China are provided by MOE for the scholarship students in Chinaagainst hospitalizing for serious diseases and accidental injuries.

Applicants for doctoral programsmust be the holders ofMaster’s degreeor the equivalent of Master’s degree in China.

VIII.Application Documents（You should send: 1.two sets of hardcopy, one set of originals and one set of photocopies; 2.the packed scanned copies toto the epidemic, only packed scanned copies are needed from overseas applicants.）

For degree applicants：

(a)Application Form for International Students 2022（http://gjjy.ahau.edu.cn/info/1041/1512.htm）；The China Scholarship Council Online Application for Study in China is available inhttps://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn/#/register. Applicantsneed to fill in and printoutthe application form after submitting it online.The university application form is needed for each applicant.

(b)Highest diploma (notarized photocopy). Graduating students should provide a certificate of impending graduation and a certificate of enrollment. Graduation certificate and diploma should be submitted for the registration.(Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English).

(c) Academic transcripts (notarized photocopy): Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English.

(d) HSK4 certificate or above is required for full scholarship applicants.

(e) A study or research plan. All applicants are required to submit a study or research plan. It must be in Chinese or in English and no less than 800 words.Content: Include but not limited to personal study or work experience, academic research outcome, research plan, personal goal after graduation.

(f) Recommendation letters: Applicants for postgraduate programs must submit two letters of recommendation in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors.The issue date of the recommendation letter should be later than September 1st, 2020. Recommendation letter MUST include: title of the recommender, place of work, contact phone number, email address and recommender signature. (Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized translations in Chinese or English).

(g) Effective (within 6 months) Health Certificate

Physical examination report must cover all of the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form, and provide the detailed blood test report. Incomplete forms or forms without the applicants' photograph, a sealed photograph of the applicant, the official stamp of the hospital, or signature of physician are considered as invalid.

(h) Photocopy of passport. If the applicant is in China, a copy of a valid residence permit is also required.

(k) Applicants for English-taught programs must submit proof of English Language proficiency (TOEFL≥69、IELTS≥5.5 or equivalentcertificates) (not for English native speakers and those who get the degree in English speaking countries).HSK4(or above)certificate is required for full scholarship applicants.Partial scholarship and self-funded applicantswho do not possess an HSK 4 (or above) certificate should finish Chinese language course before academic study (not for Chinese native speakers or those Chinese-taught majors who get the degree in Chinese universities) .

For Non-degree applicants：
