From July 13 to 15, a five-member delegation led by Professor Peter Hastie, Vice-Principal of Scotland's Rural College (SRUC), visited our university. Mr. Ding Hui, Deputy Director of the SRUC China Centre, accompanied the visit. The meeting and exchange session was chaired by Chen Liqing, Vice-President of the university.
During the meeting, both sides presented an overview of their respective institutional developments and provided updates on the progress of ongoing cooperative initiatives. Both parties expressed a shared aspiration to take this visit as an opportunity to further deepen exchange and collaboration, and to ensure that concrete work plans are effectively implemented. Relevant schools and colleges engaged in thorough discussions and exchanges on specific matters including educational and teaching practices, disciplinary development, and practical internship arrangements.

During their stay, the delegation also conducted field visits to the university's Jianghuai Watershed Comprehensive Experiment Station, the Central Anhui Comprehensive Experiment Station, the Dabie Mountains Comprehensive Experiment Station, as well as relevant partner enterprises. They also held in-depth exchanges with local agricultural production entities.
